HEY SOLAS
How childish Trevelyan feels now, resorting to the tricks of her apprenticeship to make sure she knows where she is at all times. It's well enough that Solas didn't actually mind that she'd barged her way into his sliver of the Fade before, but if she doesn't know when she's doing it, the next time it happens may not be with someone as understanding.
And there are some people in Skyhold whose heads she really does not want to slip into, unintentional or otherwise.
This time, when she runs her fingers along the wall of the Skyhold hall and they feel too smooth to be real, she actually knocks before entering the rotunda Solas had claimed, announcing her presence rather than simply being there where she wasn't before. Dreamer etiquette, maybe.
Well. Maybe not, but that's what she's here to learn. ]
Solas? I don't mean to bother you again, but I seem to have found myself, well... here.
omg I thought I responded to you a month ago I'm so sorry.
For now, certainly the rotunda seems familiar, but the doorway leading out onto the wall is different. The sky brighter than anyone alive should remember it, spires surrounded and supported by ivy and branch that looks both magical and natural by design. The sound of the waterfall beneath where the cells reside in reality drowning out chatter that is indistinguishable amidst the roar.
The knock, however, seems to echo in the room before the door opens. Solas raises an eyebrow before addressing her.]
Intentionally or not, you are becoming quite proficient in visiting others naturally.
[Honestly, it's a surprise and a concern. Not only because he could already imagine most of her circle's reactions to her appearing in their dreams, but was this in part the Anchor's influence upon her own magic?]
Most Dreamers do not usually intend their destinations without practice and find themselves wandering aimlessly. At least you won't find yourself the target of one of Sera's latest pranks.
[Or Vivienne's ire, the Iron Bull's skepticism... Cullen had his hands full with his own trauma, and Cassandra he imagines would threaten her with a sword before she thought things through, and no one wanted to deal with the outcome of that.]
haha no worries! it's been hectic for everyone recently
Taking his response as permission implicitly given, Trevelyan gives him a grateful smile, closes the door behind her and lets herself the rest of the way into the room. She throws a curious glance around, but sees nothing out of the ordinary — even the distant glimpse of scenery outside doesn't seem strange, taken easily in stride as more of the Fade being an imperfect reflection. ]
Could it have something to do with physical proximity? Since you're only across the hall from me, technically speaking.
[ She props her hip against the edge of his desk, her gaze turned toward him, open and interested. ]
