His brows come together, trying to figure this out, but the nerves don't last because Noct breaks out into a smile.
Then Prompto bursts out into a laugh as one of the chicks nestles right into Noctis' hair like he's a nest. He covers his mouth with both hands, thinking it's probably somehow rude to be heard laughing by the King or something like that.
